    Excellent camera to capture your music

    After a great deal of research on camera's I landed on the Zoom Q8 mostly because of the compact design and the integrated spec's. The ability to record in stereo and to be able to separate the video file from the audio file was huge for me. I have to say my research proved right on! This Q8 is very affordable and produces professional results. The ease of set-up and operation is second to none. It was important to me to be able to record video and audio and not have to do a lot of manipulating to post on Face Book or YouTube. The quality can be uploaded almost immediately (actually could upload immediately if you didn't have to cut the video into segments. The ability to swap out microphones is very easy and the quality of the recordings is unbelievably good. You can't go wrong ...

    Zoom Q8 Review... Not so excited once in hand.

    At first glance the Zoom Q8 looks like a kids toy. It has some good feature like bluetooth 3.0, but crappy features like poor video zooming features. Its super small and the viewing touch screen feels like your going to break it every time you touch the thing. I feel required to hold the back of the screen every time I touch it. High resolution requires SDXC 128gig Class 10, U3, 4K card to function properly and it still doesn't really produce the high quality video resolution it boasts. 128 gig is max on card slot. As for the sound side to this video camera, its pretty good. Amazingly, the Phantom Power from the battery actually works decent. Zoom replaceable microphones sound good and cancel out wind decent. Zoom has been in the audio business for a while, but they still need a boost in ...

    Very good audio - ho-hum video

    Very good audio quality from the built-in mics, and the XLR inputs with phantom power are a game-changer. Video is OK, but the video on my iPhone is actually better.
