    well made product

    This extender is well made and does make it much easier to eject a mag without having to change your grip. That being said, it is an extender, so the new release does stick out from the grip quite a bit farther than the stock release. Depending on how you use/carry the gun, it could have the potential to get snagged. That is not necessarily a negative, just depends on what you want. I personally found the new mag release to have a really good feel and found it much more convenient than the stock release. Note: my new mag release extender did not fit quite flush on the side opposite my thumb. Not sure if that is just the design or what.

    Waste of money

    I bought this to replace the factory mag release on my Glock 34 because it sticks out to far. This mag release sticks out even further. It's hard to keep from pressing it while using a two handed shooting grip, especially when managing recoil. Also it's too easy to engage the release in a standard outside the waistband holster. I have already removed it from my gun. It is priced much higher than similar products, as well. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star, is it appears to be made well and of good quality. It may work fine for a competition shooter with a racegun style holster. But it is worthless for practical use or for any kind of tactical operations.

    A must-have for competitive shooters!

    Next to sights, this is probably the best purchase I've made for my Glock 17 Gen 3. I'm a fairly new USPSA competitive shooter and now that Production allows after-market mag releases I consider this a must have. I've tried the Glock extended mag release but it was hard on my thumb. I would probably not put this on a carry gun, but for competition, yes!

    ZEV mag release

    Exactly what I was looking for. Extends out just a hair further than I was expecting, but it's perfect. This isn't made for CCW or EDC, unless you have a holster custom made for it specifically so that the release button doesn't press against your body and expel the mag.

    Great for competition gun.

    Great for competition gun but not so much for something like a carry gun. I originally mounted this on a G23 but i found the slightly increased recoil of 40cal causes this mag release to dig into the support hand and every once and a while accidentally releasing the magazine. I switched it to a 9mm. Works great.
