I LOVE this DVD! The Dawn DVD focuses on energizing the body, getting ready for the day. There are a lot of twists, lunges and back bends in this one. I especially love the neck and shoulder stretches and twists in the beginning, and the stretching in the sphynx towards the end. I was an intermediate beginner when I started this, and a lot of the poses are challenging but not impossible. I feel like I can keep up fine, but there is still room for me to grow which is great. Rainbeau is awesome! She has absolutely perfect form and she shines from within. Her affirmations are loving and beautiful and never cheesy. I do this workout every day and I never tire of listening to her talk, unlike some other yoga DVDs. Her friends who also do yoga in the DVD, also have great form. There are two other women, Bohni and Bliss (whom I like to watch also), and two men, Arnel and Quishen (sp?). The music is very soothing and the background is unobtrusive. I feel light and relaxed when I'm done with this workout, and afterwards Rainbeau does a series of advances poses which is very entertaining to watch.Read full review
Yoga for Beauty is a relaxing DVD with great music and great cueing by Rainbeau Mars. You perform traditional poses and are constantly reminded to focus on your breath. After completing this workout, my body feels stretched and my mind feels renewed. This DVD is about 50 minutes long and includes modifications, although it is perfect for beginners or advanced practitioners. There is a 15 minute bonus workout that provides more of a challenge by increasing the "flow" of each pose. There is also an inspiring solo performance by Rainbeau Mars that will leave you wanting to improve your yoga own practice. I own several Yoga DVD's and this is one of the best.
