Over the past twenty years I've used three (3) different types of automatic pool vacuum systems ... each costing at least $50 to $125 more than this XtremepowerUS generic Kreepy Krauly. ... and that's talking pricing at those earlier dates of purchase. This Kreepy Krauly out performs the other systems, is relatively good quality, and easy to set up and use. Yea, it does get stuck around the bottom of the steps from time to time, but for the dollar and performance, ... I don't care. I rarely write reviews ... but this product is worth the money.

Useless vacuum cleaner This vacuum can best be described as a quasi manual vacuum. It requires a lot of supervision where you manually have to get it unstuck. It gets stuck on the stairs and corners.. It does a decent job of cleaning when it does not get stuck. I would say about 30% of the pool is cleaned on a good day without supervision. With supervision it goes higher to about 60%, but it has never cleaned the entire pool even with supervision. The design is also poor, it requires regularly reassembly as things start to fall apart on a regular basis. It is not as described on many web sites and reviews, it is definetely not automatic. In contrast I will say there was a much more expensive auto vacuum that would always get stuck. So I am not sure if I should return it or just accept the fact that this model IS NOT auto vacuum and keep it as a semi manual vacuum. Adjusting your pool jets (3 in my case), left, right, down , opposite corners, cross flow etc it makes no change to the vacuum. New note 18/01/2018: bought extra 2 jets, used them as stated in the manual to direct the water as per instructions, still no changes, cleaning and behaviour remains as before. Complete waste of moneys. For people thinking to by this cleaner, think twice. As an experienced pool user this cleaner is definitely not a cleaner and there is no comparison to my old Baracuda. DO NOT BUY, unless you are keen looking for trouble. Simply buy a hand held one with trouble zero rather than this high priced hopless thing .Read full review

It cleans in a good way, if it runs into corners or stairs it gets stuck there. I simply shortened the hose so it wouldn't reach those areas and it just keeps going as advertised. Floors and walls are cleaned by the sweeper and I brush the stairs and corners with a pool broom, it's easy, small price to pay for the great price break. I've had other cleaners that fail for different reasons, none are perfect. Most more expensive. This sweeper is a "Great deal for the money".

Easy Assembly, Quality Materials and this worked fantastic. 45 minutes and the pool was spotless. We went swimming and gave the Kreepy some manual assistance in guidance but only because we were in a hurry. It would have covered every inch in less than an hour. Excellent Product and Great Price. Many Thanks.

This is a great value for not a lot of money compared to the other brands on the market today. The parts wear just as fast as the name brands and its less expensive to to just replace the entire unit than to buy pieces and parts for it. It comes complete with everything you need to hook it up and start cleaning! If you have a diving pool like me, you will just need to buy a couple extra hoses but, that's it! This will be my 3rd unit in 6 years!
