    Best Reference to date on WWI Victory medals.

    As a medal collector, especially if you collect WWI Victory medals, this is by far the most comprehensive and detailed source on the Victory medals. The author uses many illustrations pointing out subtle differences in each of the different countries issued Victory medals. It is apparent that the author had extensive experience collecting this type of medal. It does provide an extensive explanation of the many battle bars on United States Victory medals. The text is well written and illustrated making a valuable resource for the medal collector.
