Mighty Mule AWSOME !!! (not a "motion" detector)
This is my 2nd Mighty Mule alarm, the first lasted over 5 years and worked great, no false alarms from a yard full of animals only metal objects set it off like cars, motorcycles and even bicycles. Only takes 2 AA batteries which typically last over 6 months. If you can dig a small hole (which isn't 100% necessary) insulation is super easy. BEST PRICE FOR A MULE
Instructions are confusing to a point of male baldness,but did get it to work. Works best if you place it above ground. In my case i slid it under my plastic gravel retainer that lines my driveway.Every time i tried to bury it it would false alarm every 10 seconds. It also works perfect if you just place it above ground fully exposed with the cable extended nice and straight. But for now it works perfect,detecting every car and even my rider mower with every pass.ONLY TIME WILL TELL if it's worth what i paid for it which was the best price on Ebay.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cannot understand all the criticsm
Once installed as directed the device works perfectly. When installing and moving it around the device goes off continuously so remove the batteries until fully installed. You will need to set the sensitivity about halfway. Radio range was 400 metre (not foot) plus. I did not have time to test the full range, but did not even need line of sight. Since installation have not had single false alarm nor missed a single vehicle. Suggest remove batteries and clean the terminals regularly. An electronic cleaning spray around the dip switches is advisable regularly. No matter how weatherproof with a moist atmosphere corrosion will occur especially at the battery terminals.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mighty mule driveway alarm
Works much better than the ultrasonic driveway alarms. A little harder to install. Great range for the alarm. Wish that it had a built-in relay to activate camera or alarm system. I have bought three of these. The last one I bought was to get an additional receiver. I have two transmitters installed one on each side of my driveway. No more cloud, wind or animal activation. No false alarms like a motion senser type.
Easy installation (follow instructions) I bought this remote to put in my shop. Last year I bought the complete system for the house (sending unit and remote). The USB cable on sending unit was too short for me to hide it in an nearby shrub so I coupled another to it and made sure to water proof the connection. Remote is loud enough to hear in house but might not in my shop. If that's the case I will put it on second floor in house. I would give this 5 stars if USB cable was longer and remote was louder. Easy to install, works great, USB cord should be longer. I had to buy a 12' USB extension cord so I could locate sending unit were I wanted it.(Hidden behind shrubbery) I made connection water proof with dielectric grease , shrink wrap and finished up with good electric tape.
