Our 7 year old daughter can be very feisty at times. Geez, wonder where she got that? :) Anyway, this book has been a great addition to our tool set to help her manage her temper and be more thoughtful when the time calls for it. Would recommend this to any parent trying to get their child to chill out and how best to manage their feelings of frustration and anger.

I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the book. It was labeled "good" condition. It ended up being a library book that seemed to have been read a thousand times. Most of the pages were worn and had folds. Even some stains on the pages. I appreciate being able to buy used books for less, but I wish the quality was better defined in the descriptions. I would have given my book an "acceptable" condition. Be wary of the condition descriptions.

Awesome book, very helpful with 6 year olds-pre-teenagers with anger issues. Very good coping skills and exercises for the child to practice and benefit and use the next he/she is angry or frustrated. Highly recommend this book and any book Dawn Heubner has written. :-)
