The original one rusted and rotted after many years of use. The metal used does not last nearly as long as I would have liked but.......it is what it is and it is the factory replacement. I answered the question if it is of good quality as yes as there is no other check box that would address the fact it could be better than originally designed but in all fairness it is the same as the original one. To manufacture a nearly indestructible one is not within the realm of practical possibilities.

Well it isn't no SNS and doesn't hug the Weber 22" as I expected. But it did cook the chicken lollipops great but it had to be filled up 2 times after initial fill. For the price it did ok but I would not recommend.

So far so good. It works well in tandem with a pan of water. Keeps coals hot, heat indirect and reduces the number of briquettes needed. Meat was cooked, tender and full of smoky flavor.(I do use soaked wood chunks wrapped in tin foil.)

great accessory for the Weber.....allows indirect heat and easy access through the flip grate to add more briquets or wood......well worth the money

If you want to use lump charcoal on your grill, you need some help building the "pyramid." These do a good job in keeping your coals together. Careful not to fill them up too much or you smother the middle coals, and be able to give them a poke every now and then. I used a piece of rebar in between the grill grates.
