No Verizon tower in our area. Struggled to send texts. Phone calls were impossible. After installing the booster the signal is now strong enough for both phone and texts. Is the signal as strong as having a Verizon tower in our area? No, but certainly adequate to provide necessary cell strength throughout a portion of the house. Manufacturer refurbished unit that arrived looked like a brand new product and is supported by a one year warranty. Pleased with our purchase.

Came with everything andbwas easy to set up. In my area i get 1-2 bars of lte outside at ground level. I put mine 60ft above the house and ran the cables to a dead zone inside the house. Inside 8ft around the antenna it jumps between 5 bars and 2 bars. At best it gives about 5 minutes of 80ping -77dbm of lte data. cricket lg stylus 2 (att) phone jumps between band 4 and 2(which both dont provide data, but waste about 30seconds to switch back and forth) and finally switches to band 17 that actually works and gives service(3-5 bars lte). Another phone Samsung note 4 (us cellular) seems to do the same thing but doesnt show the band its currently using. In other words works only within 15ft max from the antenna, works for about 2 phone of lte service, and service is disrupted often. Worse cases is me trying to wait up to 5 minutes to get service. Replugging the box fixes the problem instantly. Need to know the best angle and angle limit for the exterior antenna. Need to find a solution or i might have problems revieving phone calls in the houseRead full review

The booster works as advertised. It takes a weak signal and amplifies it a bit. The nice feature is that you can place the antenna outside or in an attic where there is signal, and then run the coax cable to the booster where there is no signal. It allows us to use our cell phones in parts of the house where we couldn't in the past.

I bought to use at mountain house in NC. In the house, i would get Verizon 1X signal to no service. I have used for one weekend so don't know how long it will last. It gets really hot where the outside antenna connects to the booster. Anyhow, it does boost the signal to where I can make a phone call and send text messages. Sometimes the text messages are delayed. Tried to video chat and it could not do that. I put my phone in field test mode and signal strength was -107 to -118 db 4G. (Worked same way on both Verizon and straight-talk phones) The outside antenna needs to be as far from the booster as possible, otherwise frequency band lights will not lock in green, they will blink red - means limited mode. So only using one of the 25 foot coax cables is not a possibility, you will need to add both. Believe it or not finding a place to mount outside antenna 40-50 ft away can be an issue. The indoor coverage of 2500ft - well you can forget that. But to be fair, it is mentioned that your coverage will be less, the weaker signal you have outside. Overall it did improve my signal strength, so it was worth the money I paid. I am worried it won't last long because of how hot it runs.Read full review

I literally live in the "boonies" with poor reception of any kind, cell, tv, radio. This weBoost kit has been able to pick up cell signals and provide me with a constant 3 bars where there only used to be 0 to 1 bar. I have both CDMA/LTE and GSM/LTE, 2 different carriers, and both have great reception now. Once it is installed there is nothing else to do but enjoy it is there. Installing may take you some time depending on if you decide to do an exterior install. It will receive signals better if the antenna is outside.
