must have tool for a watch
this is a great tool to have if you own a watch! I own more than one watch and at times i want to change the band. I use this tool instead of going to a watch repair shop. It is super easy to use. I took off one star because mine is forked at both ends instead of straight at the other end. Since I dont use link bands its not a problem for me. I especially like the ruler on the tool for measuring the spring bars.

Spend $20 more and get a far superior tool
This spring bar tool costs about 1/5 the price of a very similar-looking model I've used extensively, but it's nowhere near as well made. The key to having these tools work properly is first being thin enough to sneak behind stubborn straps and bracelets. Second, you want the grooves sharp enough to get a solid grip on the spring bar flange to move it. This tool falls short on both fronts. The flat bar is too thick and doesn't taper to the end, so you'll mangle a tight strap trying to use it. And the grooves for catching the spring bar are more rounded off than on my other tool, so they're more likely to slip than grip. See my pictures for details. The $25 tool is on the left in the first photo and on top in the second.

Great tool. This is all you need for any band or link sizing.
My wife and I enjoy having several watches, always Citizen Eco-drives. So I adjust the links or the change out straps. I had a small link remover that holds the watch and pushes the pins out through a guide or form. I needed something to change out straps. This works out great because it’s dual purpose. Heavy duty, sturdy, easy to use, and actually works. It’s a a two in one tool. I could of bought this and it would if worked for my metals too.

Fell apart in my hands within minutes
Within minutes of using, the knob fell apart into pieces and became useless. Had to throw this away. Good for about 1 very brief use before it self destructs.

OK for the price
you get what you buy. it will get the job done but with difficulty since it's cheap. a more expensive one will have a finer tip that will be easier to work with. it does come with the extra tips.
