I bought this expecting a real intense workout. I was surprised to find this is exerpts taken from previous tapes to make a starter tape. This is a great get started DVD and will help keep you moving. Perfect for the beginner but I would not recommend this for an intermediate or advance exerciser. This would be good if you were recovering from an injury and meeded a great DVD to get you back into the fitness game. A beginner they have the option of doing one or both workouts on this DVD and can control the amount of time they spend exercising and the intensity level they prefer. Overall I think this is a great starter tape to get you motivated and moving.
I have actually worn out my first "Walk Away the Pounds for Abs" DVD. Currently, I am looking for a replacement, which led me to this review. This video helped me to shed 35 pounds 3 years ago and keep it off! It is easy to pace yourself whether you are a beginner or advanced. You can increase the intensity as you progress and get a better workout each time. I have a tendency for knee and ankle pain and this workout has not caused any flares with either. I have always done the 2 miles, which takes 30 minutes. When I was really working on getting the extra pounds off, I was doing the walk at least 4 times a week and lost the weight over a 1 year period. I had this in VHS and bought DVD to continue the exercise program. This DVD allows you to exercise in the privacy of your home. It has a 1 mile and 2 mile walk that allows you to vary your exercise program. You have no excuse for not exercising because of time or weather. 20 - 30 minutes and you are done. The program has a warm up before starting the walk and a cool down after completing mile(s). This DVD allows you to work out when its convenient for you.
Wonderful product. Really easy to do. My daughter and I use the dvd each night. I am a plus sized woman (300lbs) and the tape is easy for me to do. I don't like to walk outside. I have already lost 6 pounds in two weeks. I am really excited.
I love her videos! I needed an exercise program that I could do with my 2 preteens and at the same time get in shape myself. This workout is easy, pleasurable and Leslie is so informative and encouraging that it makes exercising enjoyable. Even my kids liked it!
