I clean feral cat feeding stations at a local park once a week. This used to mean spray bottles of cleanser and rinse water, as well as scrub brushes and towels. Even then, I never felt the stations were truly clean. The Hydroshpt means all I need is a jerry can of water and a towel. It provides enough pressure to blast off dirt and bird poop and takes no time at all. I don’t get the higher pressure of a gas powered unit, but the compact size and portability is all I need. When my original unit started to die of old age, I couldn’t buy a replacement fast enough.

I've been trying this product out for 2 days now and so far it is mediocre at best. It is very under powered when using the bucket method but can still be useful for some applications. If you have a reefer trailer and you want to use this to wash it out you can do about 2 ribs at a time. It does not power off any hard scum, just loose dirt. It can barely power small wood chips down the ribs. It works best if the bucket is elevated above your work area. I tied a metal rod to the hose so it quits floating to the top and sucking air. That helped a lot. This item is for very lite duty jobs. The battery life has been pretty good for the 40V. I guess I can find enough uses for it that its worth the $70 I paid so far.

The WORX Hydro shot is made of high quality materials. It performs as advertised. It was well packaged and arrived undamaged. The battery lasts about 1/2 hour so I recommend buying more that one battery, which I will do. You must continue to grip the hand trigger (sort of like pumping gas) which I assume is for safety reasons. If you don't like gripping it for the full 1/2 hour you will get tired, especially if you're not used to that grip, also remember you're dragging the hose around. Not a good item to give to your grandparents! Having said that I liked it and will continue to use it Better than a full blown power washer for my uses. It also comes with a handy storage sack which I did not expect.

It is not a "power" cleaner. It has its uses though. It is portable/battery powered and can siphon its water/cleaner from a bucket or garden hose. I actually used it inside on the shower the other day. But when used on the car...most of the dirt was removed when I toweled the car off (: Still...you get a charger and two batteries with the unit also... Good value

The Hydroshot is well made and the attachments are solid. The convenience of not using a hose is the best feature. However, the performance is lacking. Pulling from a bucket or connecting to the city water does not make a difference. The nozzles are very restrictive causing the volume flow rate to be low. Only is fine stream of water is ejected from the Hydroshot. The pressure is greater than city water pressure, but it is not sufficient to be a pressure washer, Thus the large volume flow from a garden hose, at less pressure, often provides a more satisfying solution to general cleaning.
