A great buy.
I believe this was a refurbished product (I was aware of this when I purchased it). It looks and runs like brand new. It came with three extra trimmer spools, a shaft mounted spool holder, and the fast charger which is way better than the charger that comes with a new product. Okay for small/light jobs - Not recommended for larger yard work.
I have a feeling this product would be acceptable for those with a small yard or "nicely groomed property" which simply needs a little edge and trim. When it comes to really cutting through tall weeds and thick grass this edger could use a lot more power. I read in other reviews that the battery life was good but that wasn't my experience. We have a large property and though it's frequently mowed the edger is a necessity to cut back around perimeters and gardens, along walls and planters. Cutting through taller/dense weeds I ran through two fully charged batteries in less than 40 minutes (pretty much constantly running). I did not run out of trimmer string on the one spool which was a plus (it comes with three fully loaded); simply didn't provide enough useful trimmer time before recharge was required and recharge time basically put the project on hold for hours. This trimmer is surprisingly lightweight but simply not enough power and battery-life for my yard requirements. I may keep this for small edging jobs right next to the house but will still need a "work trimmer" for the significant weed-cutting tasks. I was hoping to get away from my Stihl gas-trimmer but this one will not even come close to the work the Stihl could accomplish.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Has power & good value!
Had more gusto than l expected ... Good. Battery lasted about 25-30 minutes. Wheel is just so so, but is nice to have. Angle adjuster, handle/shaft to trimmer base, sometimes it slips changing angle. 1 year battery warranty ... Nice. Second battery is nice feature. works OK but not great
Works OK, but not as well as my electric and gas ones. It's fairly lightweight which is good. It seems to cut pretty unevenly. Each battery lasts about 1/2 hour. and they take 5 hours to charge. Not overly impressed. It seems more like a toy. The good things are that you don't have a cord like an electric one and you don't have to fight starting it like a gas one. Lightweight, easy to use, effective, economical, environmentally friendly
I love the lightweight, flexibility, minimal noise, and long battery life features of the trimmer and blower. The battery life is great! The only downside of the trimmer I found is the trimmer line cartridges are small and need to be changed out more frequently. All other features make up for that small detail. I just buy trimmer line in bulk and restring the cartridges myself. Good product, at a fair price.
It does not have the power of a gasoline trimmer but does the job. If you have a city lot it is just fine. It will work on one battery for 15 to 20 minutes. The batteries that come with the trimmer are a better grade than the batteries that come with other WORX products but they are universal and work in any of the WORX 20-V products. A good product for the price..

Not what I expected.
The design is similar to Black & Decker's LSTE525 20V trimmer, and is very lightweight. Like the B&D, it goes through string very fast, and barely cuts through grass and weeds. The on-demand line feed really only turns the trimmer off to advance the line. That can be done on the B&D and the Worx simply by releasing the On button momentarily. I have a Black and Decker 6.5 electric trimmer that cost half the price, and it is far more powerful than this trimmer. The Black and Decker has the same problem going through line too fast, but is much easier to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great trimmer. Positioning with wheels for edging makes the job real easy and quick. I was able to trim walkway in minutes in what used to take me hours. Great Product!
This is an excellent product. Have had a Worx 18v trimmer for years. Now have upgraded to the 20v share. Is Great around the farm and don't have to pull start it.
