Got mine from Ebay brand new for $50. It is ok. It makes calls and thats about it. THE GOOD: It makes calls Stylish, sort of Can be hooked up to a laptop with a data cable THE BAD: No Bluetooth Battery doesn't last long Needs to be charged about every other day Battery cover is hard as hell to get off Finish comes off rather quickly Antenna comes unscrewed and falls off Lack of features Not as easy to use a Samsung or Audiovox ect. All in all it is a phone, no more no less. Personally I would not give over $50 for it. I don't like the way it is set up or the lack of features. It looks great at first but after about a month it starts to look pretty rough. The silver finish on mine started coming off after about a month. I just stick it in my pocket so I guess thats why. Personally I would get something else.Read full review
The phone is a little difficult to learn, so save that manual. Verizon is awful about support for this. For example, mine needed a battery, and after two hours waiting they told me they did not have one and tried to upgrade me to a nother two year deal with a different phone. I want a phone that calls people, not to watch videos, listen to music, etc. It does take ok stills, not great, and is capable of short video.Know the difference between a locked an unlocked phone..a locked phone is stuck to the provider..in this case verizon...unlocked you can go where you please. As we saw in long distance, cell time has decreased in cost, so it is supplemented with buying new phones and contracts. Again, the item is just fine, just don't expect support from Verizon. They are terrible. The good news is that the phone works about everywhere, with no roaming. A similarly obnoxious quality is that if you get a new message, "it' decides that you should listen to all your to be deleted ones first. This is a major inconvenience. And they will try to slip in extra charges for text messages, and all of a sudden you are getting garbage texts. Summarizing, it looks like I think the phone is adequate, and the verizon service is not. But you have a choice. Make it wisely.Read full review
I was very impressed with the speed and the good price at which I got this phone. It shipped very quickly.I got this model because I love the i-tap for texting and it has a good layout for ease of use. The phone is a flip model and this used phone is a bit loose on one side of the hinge but I have not had any real problems with it. It does not have speaker phone option which is a bummer. The biggest complaint I have is that the charger and the charger "hole" are sort of flimsy and you have to be really careful not to shove it in. I have had problems with this type of charger connection before.
This phone is ideal for the person that needs a rugged phone for Verizon which is hard to find. After running mine through the washer twice in my work pants it still kept working. I just took the battery out and let it dry over night. The phone has by far the best reception when it comes to tri-band phones. It uses the same radio as the Motorola V710 giving it the ability to use not only Digital signals but analog as well. These means great coverage in fringe areas or when you need to be able to roam on a different carrier's network that is still only analog. For someone who lives in a rural area that has poor coverage, this phone might just be the answer to all your problems. With text and picture messaging being an option, you can stay in touch no matter what the situation (Extended Digital Service Required). The call qaulity of the phone is great, dropping a call rarely happens and the sound is great. The phone is not for the media inclined. The V710 or E815 would be a better choice, offering a larger screen and more multimedia functions. You could look at this phone as a scaled down version without bluetooth. When it comes down to it, this phone will get the job done the first time when it has to be done right.Read full review
Here we have the Motorola V276 for Verizon Wireless. This is a small yet stylish phone. I am a "Techie" and I love hi-tech gadgets. This phone is not a hi-tech gadget per se, but I am impressed with its ease of use. I specifically chose this phone because of the Get-It-Now features that verizon offers. Also because it is an older phone, the accessories that are available for it are in abundance. I really like the camera for the purpose of a cell phone camera but it is not for use as a digital camera. If I must say anything negative about this phone it would have to be the battery life. I was constantly charging the battery, but a recent purchase of the extended battery and battery door has taken care of this problem. The signal quality is great!!! Before I purchased this phone, I did research to find one that would have a great signal quality. This is a tri-mode phone that verizon no longer uses but it has a better signal quality that their dual mode phones. Unlike verizon's latest phones, the Motorola V276 has got better with age. If you want an inepensive, reliable and stylish phone for your CDMA network choose the Motorola V276 and you will not be disappointed.Read full review
