Unfortunately this unit will shut down automatically within 4 minutes. Once this disk connects to laptop, there will be one error message as below. "your device, My Passport is overheating. Please safely remove your device as soon as possible or the device will shut itself down shortly to prevent any damage." To use this one, I will have to reconnect it for every 4 minutes. Same issue on couple laptops.
