Oh man. I had this pedal back in the 80s, gave it away when I stopped playing, and wanted it back so badly when I started playing again. It has such a beautiful and fun sound. It can easily be found for $200 - $300, so when I found it at this price, i said "sold". Thank you!

I've owned pretty much all the classic flangers from the 18v Electric Mistress, the 4-knob MXR (No LED), the ADA (Both SAD1024 and Panasonic MN3010), the Boss BF-2 (Silver Screw), and the Foxrox Paradox, so I have a good basis for judgment. I've bought, tested, compared, and sold a lot of pedals and this is one of the few that I've always kept. The Ibanez DFL flanger has a very pronounced and unique sound at full flange; it's definitely not mild or subtle at all. If you're after that specific RATM flanger sound, then this pedal will easily get you there.

I had this pedal for a while, it is a good Flanger but there are many out there far better for less than half of what people ask for them. They always attach Tom Morello to them thinking it will add value. It sounds no different if you add Eddie Van Halen to it. It still sounds like it sounds with you playing it and no you wont sound like Tom or Eddie. Not a bad flanger, just not worth the money people ask for them. I would buy another for around $75.00. Thats about the worth of there sound.
