Don't know if that's a red flag the seller is giving false shipping information, or a failure on the shipper's part. The tool is in good condition, and even included an unexpected cone shaped adapter that increases compatibility. The air fitting where you'd attach a hose from a compressor is an odd size, and I'll have to swap it, but the tool seems to be of decent quality.

After overheating my car and rebuilding the cooling system, I was able to use the vacuum to test for leaks and the head gasket before refilling. I hooked it up to my compressor and reduced the pressure to 50 and then used the clear tube to suck about 2 gallons of mixed coolant back in. There is a screen on the tube to filter out dirt. I had to swap the male air hose connector to make it fit my compressor as the one supplied was not compatible.

Should have had an extra exterior box. I'm one State away from shipper, and I can't imagine that box traveling cross country. All parts/fittings seem to be of decent quality, "For Chinese made", and it holds good enough pressure to bleed the brakes.
