I was a little worried after reading oth...
I was a little worried after reading other reviews on their compressor duty motors. I think those people bought motors that were too small. This 7.5hp 184t has zero problems running my 2 stage 80 gallon Champion compressor, so far. I bought a 4 inch pulley to run my pump at 850 rpm. It runs flawlessly. I timed it and calculated that it's putting out over 21 cfm between 125 psi on and 160 psi off with this motor. There's no hesitation on start up like the old one. Hopefully it lasts a long time.
