If there was ever a PS2 game that could use a reboot, Jet de Go! is it. Ever want to pilot a commercial Jet? That’s the Idea here. This game utilizes the Japan Air Lines license so well after a few hours you’ll think you are an employee. The game features a scenario mode which plops you into the thick of the action in various situations and you have to perform accordingly, which usually means landing in a storm or landing and taxiing to a certain point of the runway. Another Mode is a career mode where your air miles are logged and saved to a memory card. There are 3 difficulty levels that range from easy (just control the altitude and speed) to hard where you control EVERYTHING. Be prepared for a challenge if you play on hard. The game has an almost “zen like” feel when you are piloting your massive jet through the clouds on your way to your next checkpoint. It’s very immersive. There’s something thrilling and scary about flying over water at night and relying on the light beacons and runway lights to guide you in while you hold the fate of hundreds of passengers in your sweaty trembling hands! This game alone is worth importing a Japanese PS2.Read full review
