Took little while to get connected to Xbox, had no instructions. I google'd how to connect, and I had to upgrade firmware, then connect to Xbox a certain way. Little frustrating at first, but headset has some great features. Put the Mic in up position mutes mic, quick touch volume control if your friends are raging and you need to turn them down. Very comfortable. -- NOTE-- You have to buy different audio cable that goes from headset to controller. Astro cord is not grounded properly, and MIC will queue up even if your on Mute. Mic is way to sensitive, Battery life only around 6-8hours of consistent gameplay.

First of all I'd like to say the sound quality is great, but, sometimes the headset gets stuck and I can't either turn it on or off, the main problem I've found is that the mic just won't work, I've bought 2 different sets of adapters for the Xbox one and none of them made it work, now I can't communicate with my teammates which is a great dis advantage, don't buy this product if you play games where communication is crucial.

After having these for the better part of 2 years, the flaws are apparent. First of all the price. There are many other headsets and brands that have just as good sound quality but for 30 to 40 present less. The material on the speakers are a sort of cloth. They breath and don't crush your face, but thats about all that's good about it. Ots very rough and of you have any sort of facial hair will constantly catch. If you have furry pets, you'll be pulling hair out of the speakers every day. The sound quality is actually very good. It has amazing bass quality and the sound adjustment on the sides of the headset is amazing. The Mic is decent but not the best. It is foldable and bendable, however, and mutes itself when all the way up. Its range of motion is insane and almost never got in the way of my vision like other headset mics frequently do. Now for the absolute worst. The mixamp. The reason i bought a new headset. Its bulky, unintuitive and just stops working half the time. If something goes wrong you have to either re pair it with the headset, restart the device, or let the headset die on its own in order for it to work again. It also takes a while to be recognized by some, pcs and consoles, although i have not figured out why. If this headset didn't have the mixamp and actually had drivers that fixed some of the issues, this would be one of the best headsets out there, but i simply cannot recommend it due to the price and it's above-average ish performance.Read full review

My only gripe (and reason for deduction of 1 star) there is no way to adjust microphone volume on PC. Every other headset I've ever had - there was an option to 'boost' mic levels if need be. Not with the A50s. Other than that they are very comfortable, battery life is good - definitely better than the Sony Gold's, great sound quality, surprisingly boomy bass for a headset, insane overall volume. I don't typically listen at a very loud volume to begin with but these are the loudest headset I've ever used in my life. Mic just needs to be a little hotter in my opinion.

Received this headset fairly quick. Once charged was able to use. Works great and for an outstanding price. Sound quality, comfort, and headset pretty self explanatory for setup. If have issues, download astro software from their website and update the headset. Easy way to adjust headset for PC or ps4. Couldnt be happier with the quality. Thank you for this amazing product. Christmas came early!!!
