i already have an other set of these tools . i liked them allot but wanted a new set . had the new set for a while now . just lent my old set to a friend so i got the new set out to use . every thing is performing just as i expected . they have a protection built into them just like the old set to prevent them from overheating and burning them up . when using a 2" hole saw the hammer drill will stop when it gets too hot . i was drilling trough 3 layers of 2x6 treated lumber with it with a 2 " hole saw and it took some time , but did the job ok . the saw did very well , i was cutting through a 2x12 piece of treated lumber , making 12" blocks from 4' pieces . used the impact driver to remove 3" screws that had been in for several years . used the saws all to cut 3" metal channel off of my box that came off of a truck that i use for storage . i put a metal cutting blade in it and it cut that channel off with no problem . so these tools will do a great job . of course with any tool don't abuse them and they will last you for years . i have had the older set now for probably 4 or 5 yrs now , and they were used when i bought them .Read full review

I've always liked the Ridgid brand for it's overall quality, however, their lifetime warranty is a joke. They will direct you to an out of the way repair facility when something does go wrong, and that facility will tell you that the parts to repair your tool are not available and never have been. In essence, these are fully a disposable tool. Once a problem occurs, that's it for that tool, time to throw it away and look for another. They are a good tool, although overpriced due to their claim of a lifetime warranty. I am slowly converting to another brand that I like better.

One of the easiest decision I have made was to purchase my Ridgid tools. I was looking for a replacement and used Ridgid tools in my earlier life!! LARGE RIDGID Tools and didn't know they manufactured these quality tools. Excellent tools and will keep them forever. Thank you for offering these tools at an excellent price!!

Bought it mainly to remove lug nuts from my car. I torque them to 80-90 flbs and this Ridgid driver removes them, no problem. I'm sure it will come in handy on other jobs as soon as I get an 1/4 hex to 3/8 socket adapter. Seems well built with a tough outer shell and a nice rubber grip. For it's power it is surprising small. Has nice LED lamps to help illuminate what your working on. Can't really think of any CONs at this time.
