I was skeptical, but for <$40, I thought Id give it a chance. I am pleasently surprised. Good build quality, and it sounds very good. Using a power supply tends to be noisy, but that's easily fixed by using a 9v battery. The pedal does what it says it will do. Its a good value.

I am playing a G&L Legacy through a fender blues deville with 4/10s. The guitar is connected to pedal and to the amp. The pedal, no matter what I do has too much treble. I have readjusted the settings on the amp and still too much treble. When I turn the TS on its as of it has a low/mid frequency filter. If I turn the tone knob on the pedal to the lower frequency side, it just sounds muddy. No win situation. Also when you switch between the 2 TS models, it has a really nasty pop and I suspect that if volume is high enough, could probably do some damage. I cannot recommend this item. Goodbye $32.00.

Works as it should. Solid, sturdy, great price. Only drawback is that it has 4 screws to take out to change the 9volt battery

I wish I could say more about this pedal than I can. I may have received a poor build; for as long as it lasted it was a nice little overdrive pedal. It fried far too soon, though, so I can’t say one way or another. If you can keep from burning up the circuit this could be an awesome pedal; I just couldn’t keep from frying the circuit. Maybe it was too high a voltage, I don’t even remember. For while it lasted it sounded terrific. Then it was gone, and all I had left was the smell of ozone...

I was having all the issues noted in the other more negative reviews, and was ready to return it, until I removed it from the AC adapter power supply and dropped a 9 volt battery in it. Still makes a little pop switching from TS9 to TS 808, but it's much quieter with the battery, and the static disappeared. this pedal is a steal at this price. Built very well with super tone with my 92 Strat plugged into a Peavey Classic 50. I suggest using a battery; worked for me. Cheers!
