Reviews
The annotations are mainly textual, with the authors explaining the main points whilst keeping the variations light. So it's a relatively easy-going read and yet highly instructive. It's nicely spaced , there are a lot of diagrams and the English language is fine. In more general terms Thinkers Publishing seem to have come of age in the presentation of their works , as well as their choice of subject matter. In the case of this book, everyone could learn a great deal from it. So despite 'Understanding Maroczy Structures' only being on the fringe of opening theory, I just have to recommend it.Grandmaster Glenn Flear, YB 133, 12.2019.
