These guys are the BEST! So much great communication back and forth in creating a custom saddle. We went back and forth and back and forth with measurements and styles and compensation this and that.....they really went out of their way for a $20 piece of bone. Once it was decided, they made it in a day and shipped it and I got a day after that! Amazing! And it was all correct and my guitar sounds better than ever. Thank you very much!!

Simply Outstanding!
I recently acquired a 1998 Taylor 914c and immediately knew I'd replace the stock Tusq saddle with one made of bone. I've put one of Bob Colosi's bone saddles in a Yamaha 12-string and it was an outstanding upgrade. I had read about MacNichol saddles (highly regarded on the Acoustic Guitar Forum) and they looked like a good value so I decided to buy one (I also bought one for another Yamaha 6-string acoustic). I recently got around to installing it and I was simply blown away by the fit right out of the bag. Absolute precision on the length and width (thickness). One of the reasons I bought the saddle was to lower the action at the 12th fret, so I of course needed to sand it down a bit - with the provided sandpaper that came with the saddle (thanks!). Well, after eyeing it up next to the old Tusq saddle, finishing the sanding process and installing it in the bridge with the snug-but-not-too-snug fit, it made an already outstanding guitar sound simply exquisite. A bone saddle with a wave compensation was exactly what I wanted and turned out to be exactly what I needed. I cannot recommend this saddle enough. If you're thinking about a bone saddle upgrade for an acoustic guitar, you won't regret a MacNichol saddle. If I could give it ten stars.............I would.

Great saddles, works well and very precise with Taylor saddle slot. Use it in both my 414CE and K22CE, just a minor sanding and it fits right in the saddle slot……
