    Works as it should - great value

    A very neat and smart adapter. The small cable is actually quite useful to drape over and edge or go around a bend to neaten your cables. I struggled to get 60Hz to start with. My Dell laptop outputs 4k@60Hz over hdmi to my UHDTV with no issues but when I put it into my docking station (Dell Pro2X), I have to use the displayport, as the dock has no hdmi port, hence the need for the adapter. Initially, I could only get 30Hz. Steps were needed to get it working and it took many tries but I got there in the end. I checked my TV firmware and updated that, checked that my hdmi settings on the TV were on hdmi 2.0 (your tv might say "advanced" or similar) and then connected off my laptop's own displayport socket to test the adapter out - and, where it hadn't worked before, it now allowed me to ...
