I have used self threading needles before. Purchased in USA with thread entering needle at the top. Fast to thread with few problems. These needles have thread enter from the side. I thought this would be good, but i was WRONG. THESE ARE DIFFICULT TO THREAD. ONCE YOU FINALLY AC OMPLISH THREADING, THE THREAD GETS LOST FROM THE NEEDLE AS NEEDLE IS PULLED FROM MATERIAL. This happens 90% of the time. The quality is so poor that the head of the needle snapped off of w needles. I tried several different needles and fabric types. Same result. Save yourself a headache and dont buy!!@

The needle tops pop off while using them. They were easy to thread and very sharp, but if you pull the thread through anything a little bit taunt.....snap and the the threaded top just blew off somewhere. Warning... if you use these be very careful. I tried three and they all did the same thing.

Great for those of us who are vision impaired and have trouble threading conventional needles. Reasonably priced. Good quality. A must for people who do a lot of hand sewing and repairs. I highly recommend this product.
