I really didn’t need another x58 motherboard, but Have never owned a gigabyte, plus this one has a unique color scheme and a really sweet bios. One that rivals the Asus P6X58D Premium board that took a dump on me. It was shipped with the original box which is hands down the nicest MOBO box I have ever seen. I have an i7 975x cpu, with a h100v2 cooler. 24 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, PNY 240 GB SSD and a ZOTAC GTX 960 GPU and a 625W Seasonic PSU. Overall halt with the purchase.

Good motherboard but the charlatan who sold it too me gave me a damaged motherboard. Two of the Sata ports don't work. He put scotch tape over the two that doesn't work. He should have included that in the pictures.

It's a good motherboard from a past era. The 1366s still have some life left in them if you don't need bleeding edge performance.

These boards are great. the warning LED's are great for overclocking, and the bios is very easy to work with even for a novice
