A very solid and full of features multimeter
First of all, the build quality is excellent, and the rubber case will definitely protect it from drops. The dial, when you turn it, it has a feel that is firmly put in to place and that it ill not malfunction. The features it has, are 99% all you will ever need. It has a very fast response time when checking for open circuits, it can measure capacitors in 3-4 seconds (large capacity ones), and of course it has auto range, which saves you from the occasional error if you put the dial in the wrong function. Also, the NCV is very handy and it works perfectly. It also detects cables behind a brick wall when they are not very deep. Only thing I do not like, is that the backlight turns off pretty quick and you have to keep re-enabling it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

For the amount of money that I paid for this product , all I can say is that you have to love China and their electronics industry. A low cost multimeter that is a very good value.
Measurements are accurate to within specification. I don't trust the front end of the inputs to actually withstand higher voltages (above 400-500V), but I really only work with 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V so it's not a problem for me. The NCV functionality is a little weak. The meter must be within about an inch and a half to recognize a 120V AC source. Haven't tested higher voltage sources since 240V is not used for much in homes in the US. Overall, it's a very good meter. Great value, perfect multimeter for your electronics lab. Lots of functions.
Very solid construction. Good protection sleeve, but front side is not protected against falling face-down. Nice big display. Good contrast when viewed from below (6 o'clock) but contrast goes down when viewed from above. Nice big fuses inside. Easy to replace when needed. Runs on a set of 2 AA batteries. Even accepts a pair of rechargeables and still manages to output 3.2 Volts on diode testing. No problems with white leds of 2.699 Volts. Very sensitive in millivolt range. Up to 60.00 mV. Can measure voltage over 10 cm breadboard wire carrying 30 mA : 1.78 mV. Very handy. I love the 6000 counts. Gives me milliVolts all the way up to 6.000 Volt, and mA resolution up to 6.000A, AC as well as DC. Beautiful. AC Voltage appears accurate from 10Hz up to 1500 Hz. Can measure AC with DC offset within limits. Shows AC component in AC mode, and DC component in DC mode as long as peak values remain within measurement range. Frequency measurement also included but does not work on digital clock signals. Requires zero crossings to operate properly. Can go as low as 3 Hz (showing 2.998) and up to 6.000 MHz, Auto ranging with 4 digits. Can locate electric wiring within walls in NCV mode. Very handy when you want to drill holes in the wall. Beautiful backlight. High impedance 60 MOhm in millivolt range. Temperature probe Hold function, Min/Max function, Relative mode Resistance, Capacitance, up to very large elcos. Bad !!
I have the meter at home for about 3 weeks now and whether it is switched on or not; There are now all kind of big strange dark blue / black spots in the Display, I am not very happy with this ...
