TurboGrafx 16 Mini is an excellent console
I read many reviews from various sites about the TurboGrafx 16 mini before I bought one and they were all overwhelmingly positive and now that I have had mine for a few weeks I can add mine to that list. It is easy to use, fun to play especially if you like the other mini consoles that have been put out there over the last few years. Brings back memories
I was playing these games years ago. It brings back memories of good fun. Back then the games needed separate game cards for each game. There are many games built into the console. Retro gaming HEAVEN
So my 1st game system ever was the Turbografx16. My Dad bought it for me from CRAZY EDDIES when I was an early teen. This system takes me back. HDMI output with screen stretched to 16:9, pixel chunky charming graphics...it's wonderful!!! I also got the 8bitdo Bluetooth controller and it works perfect with the system. ---READ THIS WARNING BEFORE YOU BUY---- PLEASE---- If you buy this system, make sure you buy the HORI AC ADAPTER that is designed for the system. I know 3 people that used AC adapters they had for thier phone, or used thier HDTVs USB port to power the system. Did this work? Yeah it did, but it damaged the system. The Hori AC adapter is pricey but it's designed for the system. Don't short cut this item. In all the reviews/coverage online NOBODY has addressed this problem. The Turbografx16 mini is a fragile system in this regard. Uneven power flow will damage it.

Nice blast from the past
Console runs just fine out of the box, even with the pesky absence of a power adapter. The selection of games is a great value for the price, even if a few titles are duplicated on the pc-engine side of the console. User interface is super easy to navigate, and even has a few secrets built into it. What a great mini console
As a collector of retro games, this console is a budget friendly (for now) alternative to collecting an original TurboGrafx-16 and it’s titles. With the amount of titles available, it gives a good idea of how great the system was in its day. I do wish there was so language translation options for some Japanese titles though. It’s great. I never played any of these games before and I’m enjoying exploring each title. Some games (3?) aren’t playable because all the text is in Japanese.
