Its not really all that good. I got it to install where the gentleman i got it from had issues. Well, he didnt miss anything. He's far better off that it didnt work out for him. The fiber optic wont stay put. Which keeps it from utilizing its intinded use. I will most likely send it to truglo k see if they can fix it or @ least give me a store credit. My opinion, dont waste your money on one.

As I'd read in other reviews before buying - I did need to snip the spring that comes with this sight post to make it work. If your front post needs to be set extremely low you may not have to. If this were mentioned in the directions I'd add another star. I should add, however, that I bought two of these and one is noticeably brighter than the other. The dim one looks like it may have been hanging in the sun too long. Also, the tritium angle is pretty much a joke - as I expected. If you are in TOTAL darkness you can see the glowing. But then, of course, you can't see your target. Anything less than total darkness and the glow produced is inadequate at best ....If, like me, however, you just want a nice bright front dot for daytime and twilight shooting you should like this.
