They are good products and work great while driving, in windy situations or in the rain. But these poor things do not last long. For the price you may want to get the regular bic lighter they last longer for the money BUT they don't work in the conditions or situations mentioned. Now what's important to you determines whether you buy these babies. I recommend them for people who work in extreme weather conditions.

I've tried all kinds of torch lighters. To be fair, they all seem temperamental and often stop functioning properly after a short period of time. This style of lighter, I've noticed, is particularly unreliable. This isn't the first time I've bought this particular type of lighter. I keep thinking that I got a bad batch or was simply unlucky. But they all seem to stop working reliably after a short period of time. They won't light or the butane leaks out. They were cheap, however. I guess the old adage, "You get what you pay for" is very much true in this case.

I just got this lighter in the mail two days ago and i love it. I have a collection of around 20 torch lighters and this is fast becoming my new favorite. The flame on this thing is not messing around. It has three jets that can shoot a flame well over two inches high and its about a half inch at the base of the flame. You can turn it down to about a half inch high but any lower and it wont light or wont stay lite. The push button ignitier dosent take much pressure to work and is quite just the way i like. The price is second to none, i bought a lighter at a local parts store that was identical to this except it only had a single flame for $12.99 a week before i ordered this and the quality of this lighter seems to be just as good. The only down sides i can think of is that you cant keep this on safely for more then a minute or less ( atleast i wouldnt) but that goes for almost any torch this size all though it dose have a flame lock in case you have a quick job that you need to have both your hand and a flame for. Also if your worried fuel economy this probably isnt the torch for you. I have already had to refill the lighter after two days granted i use it quite often so ill put it to you like this. 3× jets = 3× fuel usage. If you dont wanna blow through fuel and dont need an extremely big and powerful flame your probably better off going with a single jet pocket torch. I can't speek of the longevity of this lighter but if your thinking about buying it i would recommend it to you and anybody else looking for a good pocket torch for a great price.Read full review

I've been buying these on eBay for years since they are priced almost half of what local cigar stores sell them for. They are so adorable I end up giving away most of them or leave them somewhere. I keep a few inn every car. I have three convertibles and always smoke a cigar if I have a chance. These lighters will light while I'm driving 70 mph down the highway and withstand the wind. I love that you can see when you need gas and unlike most the other refillable lighters I don't have to purge it before I refill.
