I was having a hard time finding heads that were compatible (or at least stated to be) for a little while. This one fit just fine on my FS45C. The only thing I can think of that I would change is it has a just a little bit of play on the shaft when the head is bolted down but it doesn't really effect its use. Seems durable & the bump/feed is good too, not too loose or tight. I would buy this again & recommend it as a decent quality piece.

I bought this item for a Stihl FS38 but it barely fits. Had to use my hammer to make it fit. First time using and It fell apart. The plastic washer came loose and the bump knob came off. Put it back together and ever time I put it to use, the line would not feed properly. I threw it away. Worst purchase ever made. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

It was taking along time to get here, but it could be because mail service is pretty poor here, so we went and got one in town, with the stihl box and all it was $2 cheaper. But after I ran the line out we found out it wasn't like the original, you can't load string while the head is on the trimmer. So we got out this one and it works like the original you can load it while on the trimmer which is much easier and it works just great, thank you

Product does not fit Stihl AutoCut C 5-2. The socket were the drive NUT is suppose to go is to small to fit. In other words if the trimmer head want fit the drive nut,it ijust flat is not going to work, period, Also the trimmer package received did not contain a compression spring, which simply put,ain't going to work..

PURE PIECE OF JUNK !!!! The line doesn't stay on the spool to load. It just unravels into a ball of spaghetti type line. Totally worthless...…………...
