This is one of my favorite /vinyasa/power yoga dvds. It is called Fire for a reason; cause if you do it you will heat up! I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 for a rating. Tracey and Ganga practice like my Tues night instructor, so it was easy for me to follow. It is like an hour and 15 minutes long, which is on the long side for me, but when I have the time I do enjoy doing the entire dvd. It has a lot of flowing series and power moves, but it not the most difficult power yoga dvd I have ever done. Don't let the power/fire title scare you. Just do what you can do and keep doing it and the poses will get easier.
I have had this DVD for a few years and practice with it regularly. When I feel like a need a good strong practice, this is it. This DVD is about 70 minutes long and the practice is strong. You start with a warm-up then 12 Sun Salutations. You then start the standing practice with a down dog/up dog, flow between each pose (you will complete Warrior 1 on left, then the right, then do the down/up dog flows.) After 15 of these poses/flow combinations I sweat! I also enjoy the lllloooonnnnggggg relaxation on the DVD. After the practice I need it!
I was impressed with this Fire dvd. I have worked out with weights and done cardio for many years. I recentally added Yoga and Pilates into my workouts. This one, by far, has been the most challenging! I love it. I am sore and I was sweating during the workout! I can't wait to do it again.
