This is a good thing to have to check nut and bolt sizes. Should be in every shop. Very easy to use. It's a very useful tool it cannot be better than that.
For a long time I had hard time to check the bolts & nuts but this tool made my life easy. it can be taken to any job site then use it when needed. When installing TV mounting brackets which have METRIC Screws so I can get the right Metric screws to finish the job.

I purchased the thread checker because as one who works on a variety of vehicles, both auto and motorcycle, I had found that my collection of nuts and bolts needed sorting and categorizing for ease of use and efficiency. This set of Metric and US threads is excellent, with each size neatly and permanently marked, and both male and female threads on a handy lightweight cable to keep them together and in correct order so you can find the suspected thread easily and quickly.
