1-6-2016 So i live in Maine the fall and winters can be quite cold here 32 F average high in the winter. I am a cyclist and have been trying every thing out there on the market including my own Mc Giver tricks. Results FROZEN TOES and short rides. Thanks to the internet i have stumbled across these Thermacell insoles, i think one of the large out door retailers carried them so i read some reviews and found most liked them but no one used them for my activity. Well i thought back to when i couldn't feel my toes and would of paid dearly for anything to work. So i coughed up the money got them in the mail charged them and out the door i went, 2 hours later my feet were very warm no complaints. I do recommened these especially with there 100 percent customer satisfaction policy. My advise would be order larger then your normal size they run small and providing what shoe or boot you where you will have to take out old insoles. These are just a couple of mm thicker then the old ones. They are easy to charge and remove the battery length for myself is ample 3hrs on HIGH i am sure much longer on low or medium. they come with a remote so you can play with them any way i give them a A++Read full review

I bought these because I carry mail in Minnesota. I needed something to keep my feet warm during the negative January temps. These did not work well and there was always an issue. The batteries wouldn’t work, so I bought more and the same issue. The heat was nice but they wouldn’t stay heated long enough. The remote wouldn’t work in the cold temps. I bought a pair from a company called FNDN in Michigan and their foot warmers are a 100x better. They are durable, the heat nice and the remote works in the negative temps.

Insoles are nicely designed and working well. Just left insole sometimes stays too long in standby mode after batteries are inserted and pressing of button on remote does not affect left insole. But sometimes it connects to remote nicely. Right one is fine. I need to reinsert battery second time into left one. Why can it be so? Maybe I need to reprogram left insole if this will persist?

Perfect, I have used several times since I received them. I have used them in my Muck rubber boots, tennis shoes, & Ariat boots. I have rode horseback with them & they are great! My toes didn't get cold riding in 40 degree weather for three hours in the cold weather. I have recommended my fellow riders to get them a pair & use them.

Having had an older pair of electrically heated insoles for a few years, with one sole hard to charge almost from the start, I was worried about defects. So far, though, after a couple of weeks of using these repeatedly, they seem perfect. The only negative is the strong chemical odor (like paint thinner) they emit, but that doesn't reach my nose when I wear them, doesn't cling to socks, and it seems to be fading. I still have to use a chemical heating pad in the toe of one shoe, but that's more an issue with my circulation than with the soles.
