The World At War is a fascinating and well executed piece of video history, a succinct and yet nicely detail summary of WWII featuring often stunning footage of battles on land, sea, and in the air. The interviews with participants and civilians are compelling and add a lot of depth to the narrative. It's a great overview of the war, told mostly from the British perspective, but there is no shortage of interviews of soldiers, politicians, and civilians from Germany, Japan, France, Russia, and the U.S. I highly recommend the entire World At War series. The videotapes themselves were in great condition, shrink wrapped and brand new.

I study that time of history. I find the History of Germany at that time very interesting, the people were absolutely hipnotized by the government.
