Wow, what a cast. Leonardo DiCaprio's portrayal as the “Wolf” Jordan Belfort Of Wall Street is superb. Jonah Hill as Donnie neighbor and co-founder of the pump and dump Stratton Oakmont is painfully funny, and the beautiful Margot Robbie as the "Duchess" whose fairytale life becomes a nightmare due to her husbands greed and morally depravity. This unbelievable true story will have you laughing and outraged all at the same time. The movie has a a great pace and a stellar cast.

Looks to be a lesson against illegal financial activities. Fun for short term entertainment but no real redeeming social value. One of my worst purchases. After the Academy Awards I looked at past nominations. This was one. My curiosity was not rewarded. As far as I can determine, there is no connection between what Hollywood thinks is above average and my assessment. Naturally, I understand that the perception misalignment could be totally my issue. Recommend other buyers consider an alternate standard for selections.

There is a change in certain events, some shown before others, the movie sets its own pace. When this movie starts for most of it, you are dumbfounded by the amazing sense of humour, the rapid dialogues and its amusing pace. You can feel the director was controlling my eyes and where they land. Brief intro of the plot - A wealthy stock broker who has discovered formulas to earn very high commission on the sale of penny stocks. So of course he idolises money, he preaches what he has been preached earlier. He gets qualified and unqualified money hungry men sets them in a place and then teaches them everything he knows. He never screws with their pay checks and he doesnt look at any obstacles, he has a very optimistic hedonist point of view of the world. There is a lot of drugs and alcohol in the movie but irrespective of where you belong, you will like what you see. What I liked - Some nine scenes in the movie I found very funny. You like every single character, whether its Jonah Hill, the guy from walking dead, whether its Matthew McConaughey, the Vice Presidents, his wives, the kids, the cops. The sets are amazing and I think the overall editing is fantastic. BUT I COULDN'T help but feel Martin Scorsese took somewhat of a backseat in this movie and forgot one or two of his own inhibitions in trying to bring the protagonist to the front. Leonardo is there in every scene, it looks like he is acting for the first time in his life, he is that riveting. I didn't dislike a single thing about the movie. I didn't dislike the length. Overall - I can tell for sure I will watch this movie again. It is so good it is worth owning.Read full review
