I bought the book because I've been a seller for 6 months and was looking for a guide that I could grab and look through. This book would be excellent for someone just starting out, but I had already learned much of this through trial and error. I am "cyber-challenged" so the chapters on html were too much information! If you like computer-eze, these chapters would be of interest. I was actually hoping to find information on how to locate wholesalers so I could find resale items for a better price. That kind of information is not included. I found that the illustrations were too small see well, and their black and gray coloration also made them difficult to read. Larger color illustrations would really have helped. On the whole, I did pick up some interesting hints. This book is perfect for someone who is wondering whether to sell on Ebay and isn't quite sure how to begin.Read full review
Griff has done it again! His "The Official eBay Bible," updated and published earlier this year, is a fantastic guide for eBay newbies. As a seasoned seller, I always have my copy on hand for ready-reference. If you're new to eBay as a seller, this is a great start-up guide that includes a section on starting and running your own eBay business. Great tips for eBay buyers as well!
I decide to make a bid on The Official EBay Bible because I was curious and hope it had some answers to questions that I needed for eBay. After reserving it I found that it was an earlier 2003 edition and that I had bid on the wrong one. But Even so, it was a steal because I bought it for pennies so it wasn’t a bad lose. Then, I also found, that parts of it had great reading material. I’ve especially like the story about Mr. .Jim Griffin and how he got his started on eBay. I am sure that anybody would enjoy Mr. Griffin’s bible no matter if it is an earlier edition. I believe that Mr. Jim Griffin always has some thing educational to say about eBay that he cans teach all of us newbie’s.
I recommend this book to everyone who is starting out or is self-taught on eBay. Instead of sifting through endless Help pages, this book answered all my questions. I bought this book at one of the eBay University classes (held around the U.S., but not often enough) and read almost all of it within a week. I like his humorous style, which makes for an easy read, and the amount of information I learned was well worth the cost of the book. Jim is a very credible source of eBay information: he has his own eBay internet radio show, is the Dean of eBay Education. I'm not sure if he still teaches at eBay University, but I was inspired by his enthusiasm. Highly recommended for newbies and veterans alike.
the connectors where u put wire in seem to hold it's tightness well.
