21 years after the release of 'The New Order', this album still sends thrashing chills down my old-school spine. I wore out two cassettes of this release, and over the years, had owned 3 CD's of this release as two of them had been stolen or misplaced by my so-called rivet-head buddies. This was almost the 'perfect' thrash metal album. Each song was an excellent soundtrack to well-thought ideas, and spins on what was going down back in the late eighties. From politics and social economics all the way to being inspired by Stephen King novels. There were few thrash metal albums back then that you could listen to from start to finish and fill like the headbanging-dizziness and headache was worth it. 'The New Order' was definately one of them! Thank you Testament, for creating a masterpiece!Read full review
I've always enjoyed this album since its creation. Guitar riffs are unique and quite heavy. Acoustic guitar on this record makes me feel serenity. A must have and staple if you're a metal head.
