I love that it was formatted in a fashion that is easy to assimulate the material.I like the way that everything is outlined in the book with the thought provoking mind joggers on pages. THE type size also make it very easy for reading and i couldn't put it down! I decide to buy it because i have some of his other materials but this by far his best yet.
Challenging and a great book that will dis spell many myths! Don't expect this to be another book that expounds on vain thinking. It gives in depth understanding on HOW to think as oppose to WHAT to think.
There's that old joke about the guy hanging precariously on the edge of the cliff who is sure that God will save him. This guy is so sure in fact that when a hiker, a boat, and a helicopter come to rescue him he turns them away. God is going to save him. Many of us react in a similar way in our own lives. We go to church each week expecting that because we attend, sing a few hymns, and put some money in the collection plate that God will show up at our doorstep and make our lives all better. Never once does the thought occur to us that we aren't owed a free ride because we deem ourselves his chosen ones. It must be the devil's fault. Bishop E. Bernard Jordan reminds us that God helps those who help themselves, that God is inside each of us, and that it is our responsibility to become the most we can be. Each of us is given something special and unique, ourselves. God's hope is that we find within ourselves a way to express that gift and share it in a positive way. The Laws of Thinking is inspirational and a good kick in the rear at the same time. The power truly is within and available to us all. We just have to take a good truthful look at ourselves and where we've been heading, then make a change.Read full review
