The Legendary Edition is better than buying everything seperately.
The "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" was always a fun game for me. I would play it for hours on end, not noting the passage of time, but when I would finish all my quests (Thieves Guild, Mages Guild, Companions (Fighters Guild), and the Story, I would wonder around pointlessly and aimlessly for more missions. Or clear out dungeons, caves, and the like. Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire all help out in that regard to slow the process of descent into madness, and give you a lot more to do. Earning all the Trophies is not hard, when you take it step-by-step, but I can say, I had to work for my Platinum Trophy, due to all the major quest-lines being finished prior to Level Fifty. And I did not want to add in Dawnguard or Dragonborn into the mix. Dawnguard was always a bit over-the-top for me, but that's because I never liked vampires. However, playing through it with an open mind, and a high-level character made me play it for what it really said. Vampires were always something that I completely understood, but this DLC really rewrites what I thought about them. The vampirism that can be received through a common vampire is such a watered down version, compared to Harkon. The comparison is quite unrealistic. I was also surprised when I found that it dealt with the Snow Elves, their kingdom, and it's fall. More so, when I found out that one of the only two remaining Snow Elves was a vampire. (This never made sense, being as you can convince the vampire, Serana, to get rid of her vampirism. Not to mention, Elves are somewhat immortal, anyway. If it was the Snow Elf that wanted to be a vampire for the immortality, that really makes no sense, whatsoever.) Although, I would prefer if it focused more on the Snow Elves, I can say that I did not expect it when I first played it, and it was a welcome treat. All-in-all, a worthy DLC from one of the best game companies. Dragonborn was a bit much like Shivering Isles, if I'm being truly honest. The only real difference is that the Shivering Isles was Sheogorath's plain of Oblivion, and Dragonborn takes place on Mundus. Granted, in Morrowind, but still on Mundus. So, when you travel to Apocrypha, it feels more like the Shivering Isles again. (I always loved how Bethesda was able to make such detailed lands, characters, and quests that made worlds meet.) If I truly had one complaint about Dragonborn, it would be that Miraak was an unknown entity to most of who you talked to. Moreover, when they tell you that they can remember dreaming about that name or person. I was always confused when trying to get everything figured out, and advance the plot. But, I must say, I really enjoyed the end result. I truly loved this DLC. Hearthfire was a DLC that added in what I wanted. I always found it weird that you could marry, but not get kids. I mean, there's an orphanage in Riften. Literally just down the way from the Temple of Mara. Granted, not a good orphanage, but still, it is there. So, why couldn't you adopt these kids? Hearthfire adds that in, and much more. In Falkreath, Hjaalmarch, and the Pale, you cannot buy a house. Instead, Harthfire makes it so that you can buy land, and in turn, build your own house. Though, I daresay, there are quite a few random dragon attacks, which are annoying. Sometimes, giants even make their way over, and attack you for no reason. It's quite maddening, though I do prefer a house that I can design for myself, my wife/husband, and children. All-in-all a nice, fun DLC for Skyrim.
Hard to put down!!
I played Skyrim before but I would ONLY recommend the LEGENDARY EDITION from now on! I just couldn't be happier with all of the updates and added content and it really makes it an unlimited play. Even if you get some of the Major missions done you cannot imagine the myriad of side missions and quests you can continue to do for others or yourself. It is a great game that is hard to put down!!

Mind blowing game.
I bought it for the extension pack but it's great to have a second disc of the same game. The same games can work out with any discs of the same game. It seems like this game will never end so it's good to have the back up disk. Very cool game.
