This is an excellent cook book for anyone who is into "clean eating", working out, and/or taking care of your body. I can honestly say that "clean eating" is what will help you get the body you want when combined with moderate cardio and weight training. I know. I've done it. This is not a trick by Tosca Reno to sell books. It's the only way to look and feel healthy. I also bought the Eat Clean Diet Workout book and The Eat Clean Diet book. They are all excellent for anyone---from the person who is just beginning to workout (or who is still just thinking about it) to the advanced level exerciser who is looking for that little "something" to change up their routine. No matter who you are--you will learn some new things. Tosca Reno tells it like it is. She lets you know how she was once someone who did not take care of herself. She tells you how she decided to make her life better by making her health a priority. And she admits that she started at ground zero and knew next to nothing at all about cardio and weight training and not a whole lot about clean eating. She gently guides you through the process of getting started. The cookbook---it is great. There are some "exotic" ingredients (like maple sugar flakes) in the recipes that I've had a hard time finding even in the health food stores around here, but it has been fun trying some new things. There is a section for every meal--breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. It's a good book if you want to try to eat clean. Like the nice photos, the recipes are clear and not too complicated. The only thing, she propose few items which are a little bit more difficult to find than others. It's why I give a 4 stars instead of 5. But in general like I said, it's a good book.

I have been dieting all my life and have tried every program out there. I heard about Eating Clean and decided to give it a try. This is not a diet. It is a life style change. And what a change it is. I bought this book to get some more recipe ideas. This is soooo easy. Tosca is such a wonderful writer and has recipes that everyone will love. I read everything of hers that I can get my hands on. what an insperation. If you need to lose weight or just want to change the way you eat this is a must have. The book is absolutely wonderful.
This cook book is excellent. Even if you are just looking for new amazing recipes. They are simple to prepare and do not call for complex ingredients...minus the wheat germ and steel cut oats. But they are easily available in most stores. And my favorite part is there is a picture for EVERY recipe and at the bottom of the page there is a content list for the calories, protein, ect.
I love Tosca Reno! She is an inspiration to all women but most importantly to the over 40 crowd! I have worked out since my teens but never realized just how much diet really matters! Although I have always been fit, I feel this book will give me the tools to reach my full potential (at 42 no less! This book is exactly what I expected out of Tosca! Delicious recipes that are easy and convenient. I can't wait to try them all. Kelly
