    Very very satisfied!

    I had 3 old bulb type Stinger flashlights in my aircraft repair shop that I have used since the 90's and was considering upgrading to one of the new LED stingers. My son has a newer LED Stinger and it is BRIGHT, actually a little too bright when we have tried to use it while working inside a shiny aluminum aircraft wing. I stumbled across these LED conversion kits and decided to try one. It worked great, so great that I immediately ordered 2 more and have now installed them on all 3 of my lights. While they are not as bright as my son's new LED stinger they are still brighter than the original bulb type ever was and even a weak old battery that dimly lit the old bulb when installed with the LED is fully bright. So for less than the cost of one new stinger I now have three great LED lights. ...

    great up grade!

    I was going to throw away my old school ( bulb type) stingers and buy new ones with leds . then I found these upgrades. now I have 3 led stingers!!! batteries now last 10 times longer and the light won't burn you if left on for 5 minutes or more.

    It's a Bit Longer

    This thing was bright before. The mod takes it to a new level. This is a very easy upgrade. This mod added 1/2" to the length of the flashlight. The original length according to the data sheet is 7.38. The new length is 7.88. The Streamlight Stinger Classic LED is 7.65. which is .23 shorter than the Xenon Stinger after the mod. The diameter of the new LED bezel. The diameter of the bezel is 1.62 which is .02 greater than the Xeon spec sheet, the difference isn't noticeable. The only thing I wold improve upon is to break the sharp edges. There is not a burr but it is not as smooth as the original, It will scratch paint. (All dimensions are in inches unless otherwise specified.)

    First class upgrade.

    I bought & installed three of these and I am very pleased. I pulled out an old battery from the drawer that I had intended to throw away, recharged it and installed in one of the lights. I turned it on, set it on my desk and it lasted over two hours. The lights are at least two times brighter. I use one of these as a work light and dropped it on concrete from about two feet.....it still works. Time will tell as far as dependability and durability but so far I am very pleased.

    Great performance.

    I own a very old Streamlight flashlight and I always wanted to upgrade, but most of the options that were out there were not reliable. I came across the terra-lux product and I was amazed. I want to point out that I did not have to tear apart, or make any major changes to my device. it is simple accurate and has great performance. Thanks for a great product.
