We have a walk in tub and now get plenty of hot water to fill it up. It saves money, and the water heats only when you turn your hot water faucet on. It turns off when not using it. We had a 40 gallon tank and it only filled it half way up. Now we can enjoy a full tub of water and the whirlpool bath. Isonhower lumber have never heard of a tankless water heater, and the handyman who put it in for us is going to spread the word. He is impressed.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT SEVERAL YEARS AGO. INSTALLATION WAS VERY QUICK, I PUT IT ONTO A CONCRETE BASEMENT WALL USING TWO CONCRETE ANCHORS AND MADE THE CONNECTIONS FOR WATER AND GAS EASILY. IF ONE IS HANDY WITH TOOLS IT IS A SIMPLE PRODUCT TO INSTALL. IT USES TWO D CELL BATTERIES TO IGNITE THE GAS USING A SPARK GENERATOR. THE BATTERIES LASTED WELL OVER A YEAR! I WAS ASTONISHED THINKING THAT I WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THEM AT A MUCH MORE FREQUENT RATE. IT IS STILL WORKING USING THE SECOND SET OF BATTERIES! THE WATER IS HOT QUICKLY, AND THE UNIT COMES WITH THREE ADJUSTMENTS. ONE ADJUSTS THE TEMPERATURE, ONE THE AMOUNT OF WATER FLOW THROUGH THE UNIT AND THE FINAL ONE FOR SUMMER / WINTER SELECTION BECAUSE WINTER WATER ENTERING THE UNIT IS COLDER SO IT BUMPS UP THE FLAME A LITTLE TO OFFSET THAT. THE ONLY NEGATIVE I HAVE TO REPORT IS THAT ON MY UNIT THAT LAST SELECTION WAS WIRED BACKWARD AND I HAD TO USE THE SUMMER SELECTION IN THER WINTER AND THE WINTER ON IN THE SUMMER. BUT ONCE I REALIZED WHAT WAS GOING ON IT WAS NOT AN ISSUE. THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS OFFERED, ONE HAS A DIGITAL READOUT FOR TEMPERATURE ON THE CASE AND THE OTHER DOES NOT. I DID NOT FEEL THAT WORTH THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE SO I OPTED FOR THE SIMPLER UNIT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT AND WOULD BUY IT AGAIN.Read full review

I have a number of rental properties and have been changing the old 80 gallon tank water heaters as they go bad for tank-less water heaters like this one. These are the best buy for the money. Renters love them and so do I. Be sure to back flush the lime out of them with a tank-less water heater flush kit and they will last many years. If you don't flush them they last about 3y. I would recommend this unit to anyone seeking a tank-less option. Best buy for the money and performance.
