I happened to come across this 20"Tanaka while looking for parts for an expensive popular name saw I got 2 years ago. Came in a sealed box and started on the 3rd pull and works great.     This thing runs like a champ. It has features that lend to longevity and ease of use Like other big brand saws. This is my second Tanaka, my first is a limb saw. I’ve had a couple of the big brand saws and can tell you this is every bit as good. Get it now before they become more popular and double in price. Mark my words, they will go up. I bet my lunch that you’ll like this saw, I’m a fat guy, we don’t do that easily. Ken

    "Well worth the money"

    This is a pro saw. Right out of the box I could see the quality workmanship and excellent features. Easy to assemble and off I went. This is not a wimpy saw by any means. I have been using it on and off for three days and it's never missed a beat. It's a really good weight for me. I'm 6' 6", 300lbs and 62 years old and I am able to manhandle this thing without much strain. It's not too light either, I have to work for it and I can feel it when I'm done but it doesn't overwork me. All in all I'd say this saw is well worth the money.

    Great chainsaw.

    I have had several Hitachi small engines. They are reliable and easy to maintain. This saw is well built, and less plastic. Plenty of power at 50cc.

    great saw, great price, only minor complaints

    only negative things I've noticed so far is the oil reservoir lid leaks like crazy, have to lay the saw on it's side to keep the bar oil from running out. I may have damaged the seal, need to order a new one. I like the snap/twist closure on the new Stihl saws better. Second complaint is the chain seems to slip off the bar on the bottom near the drive and get wedged frequently. And it's not from a slack chain. Not sure what's causing that. But so far, with about 3 tanks of gas run through it... I"m very happy.

    Tanaka 50.1cc chainsaw

    I own name brand chainsaws and see this made me curious, especially the price, i was skeptical but after running this saw compared to my name brand saw. The difference i felt was more comfort running the tanaka less vibration yet equivalent cut time and run time. Honestly very impressed by this chainsaw and I would definitely purchase again. Great throttle response easy to start ive got about 100 hours on it and still keeps impressing me. I'm also impressed with the bar. Very well built
