I have read everyone of Coulter's FBI thrillers. I just love this family she writes about in this series. I certainly hope that there are more to come. This book was good, not as good as some of her others but well worth the price I paid for it. I bought the book because I just could not wait for them to get it in my local library. I had been awaiting this book every since it was made known to me that it was coming. I especially liked the plot and how these two young people got together. I liked it also because of the humurous side of it. I would have liked to have known a little more about the outcome of the Uncle and if he ever got a life. He was a character that I would like to get to know a little better. Maybe in her next book, I just might get to know more about him (I can dream, can't I?).Read full review
Great story lines by a fantastic author. Kind of skipped around alot with 2 story lines going but author brought them together well and it was easy to follow. Put it on my ipod and-- no changing discs. Great for the beach and pool. I used it traveling and kept up great. Would highly recommend.
FBI special agent Jackson Crowne is flying renowned psychiatrist Dr. Timothy Maclean back to washington D.C. to protect him and discover who's trying to kill him. But they don't make it. That same morning agents Savich and Sherlock are told about Agent Crowne's Mayday sent from deep in the Appalachian mountains near Parlow kentucky. Within 30 minutes, Savich and Sherlcok are aboard an FBI helicopter headed for parlow. Agent Crowne barely manages to bring his Cessna down in the narrow cudlow Valley and haul the unconscious Dr. Maclean fromt he burning wreckage before it explodes. Their crash is witnessed by rachel abbott, a young woman who has narrowly escaped drowning by assailants who drugged her, tied her back to cment block and threw her into Black Rock Lake. I really liked this book because Savich and Sherlock were more main characters then back up characters this time. It was really good.Read full review
