I have owned NcStar and Vism gear in the past with absolute flawless performance. I have different lights on different systems all Big Brand names. I purchased this light because I have never seen anything like it with the switch accessibility and ergos, which after extensive research via photos and specs, I felt this would work for what I was looking for. I cant believe the performance! This seriously is an amazing light! You will not be disappointed. If there is anything that I would change or ad, it would be a QD mount, but that's just being picky. this light is amazing as is and I wouldn't have any issues putting it up against other lights at 5 X's the price. I am even considering selling my TLR-1 HL and buying several of these! 5 STARS!

Initially I loved the style and design of the light. The brightness is great. It easy to reach and control. BUT!!! The light consumes batteries very fast. I use CR 123, one a week. Even with the light off and not being used it consumes the battery. It's too late to return the light and I don't know what to do. Except buy from a different company. I liked this light alot. But I can't keep buying these expensive batteries every week..........

The light is very bright and went easily upon my Sig Sauer P220 elite 45. They got it to me very fast, but wondered why one button wasn't working. I found it to be the button for the strobe light option, which is an option I would rarely use, but may be a common problem with these or mine was a fluke. I thought I would mention it.

To be honest it has too many buttons, but the momentary press buttons are perfectly placed and work fine. What I wanted was a decently bright pistol light with a momentary press capability which fit my Safariland ALS holster for Glock 19 with weaponlight. That holster is designed to fit with a Surefire X200 or a TLR-1. It also fits with this pistol light. Fit is important because if this light didn't fit any holsters, what's the point? It doesn't quick release, it mounts with an allen wrench. I wanted this light to secure on my pistol in a holster on my warbelt, and it does this just fine. There is a momentary press button on each side. Momentary press is super important to me. I think that a fighting light should always have a "dead man's switch"; when I let go it should always turn off so that I stop giving away my position in the dark. There are several buttons on each side of this light including momentary, constant on and a button to switch from regular light to strobe. The only buttons I need are the momentary buttons. I like this light a lot. Lights are one place where I don't think they have to cost a mint to be effective. I own several Surefire lights including pistol lights like the XC-1 and X200. Up until recently cheaper pistol lights all had different and very inferior switch methods. I'll be testing this light but so far it is a great light at the right price.Read full review

Overall this was a good looking good working light. One major issue... It drains the battery even when it is not in use. I at first thought it was me. I got a holster. The als by safariland. And made sure that the light stayed off. In less than 3 days another battery had died. Fix the battery issue then maybe. Airsoft sure. Real steel no.
