I had the original metal one. My puppy ate the plastic top. Nice replacement. Not the same, but works just fine.

This sensor excel does the job. I couldn't find a sensor razor in my local stores. They have all the newer razors with more blades and more expensive. My old sensor razor broke and I had new sensor cartridges that I have to use so I ordered this one. It does the job but is plastic and very very light weight. Feels super cheap but does the job. It's ok for what it is.

I cannot testify to durability. The original handles, uniformly shaped cylinders with a row of protruding rubber grip pads, lasted decades before the springy jaws which hold the blades failed. These newer handles are very lightweight by comparison, but more importsnt would be the quality of the pkastic. I can’t have any faith in current plastics because I have seen terrible quality become a norm, but I can hope. Whatever the design, these were the only handles available at a fair price, since I chose not to buy some vintage handle for $50+ which might be about at the end of its own useful life. Product is a clean design that should work just fine.
