A big upgrade from the regular alarm keypad, but at a cost.
The ability to remote control your home automation and view your cameras is a great feature. The extra features come with extra monthly cost 1) cameras: only a few Honeywell approved cameras will work. $$, and extra $8/mo on top of the monthly alarm monitoring fee 2) in order to get remote access to your Z-wave automation will cost you extra monitoring fee approximately $5 extra pre month on top of the regular alarm monitoring fee. you can get a separate z-wave hub to do this, but if you want a single sign-on using Honeywell alarmnet, then you will have to pay $$$.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I purchased this to upgrade my security system. The modern graphic touch display is very cool and there are many features. The design is simple and uncluttered so it doesn't distract as it's mounted on the wall in a high traffic area. It offers flexibility to expand my system even further using the included home automation features. The button type keypads are a thing of the past. Is working but not perfect.
The screen failed the test having bad pixels where touch command is not taken. Also has a darker vertical band on the middle of screen one inch wide. The unit is not new.
