This adapter will fit your micro 4/3rds mirrorless camera to a T2 mount. You will need the T2 to telescope adapter to mount your camera to the telescope. If your telescope is lightweight, you may have a problem balancing a heavy camera on the focus end. This works best on a larger telescope and not lightweight beginner equipment. The fit of this adapter is exact and will fit any micro 4/3rds camera. The small mirrorless cameras are well suited for telescopes as they are high quality, but lighter weight in size and smaller too. You need a smaller camera with most telescope mounts, in order for the camera not to impede the use and direction of the telescope.

The mount is well made and seems to be sturdy. It fits both the lens and the camera securely. The only issue I encountered was one of the three set screws could not be loosened with the supplied Allen wrench. I was able to loosen the other two set screws enough to position the lens correctly and when retightened the whole mount seems secure.

As other lens adapters that I own this worked out great mounting my 500mm mirrorless lens to my Olympus M 4/3's Camera. I had to order an extra rear cap which didn't come with the adapter, but I knew it didn't come with one. And don't worry about the weight, it is very lite for anyone that never own an adapter. Of course this will only work in manual mode when shotting.

This base is primarily for use with old "T-mount" lenses and some telescope adapters. But it can also be used as a "platform" for mounting pinhole lenses and other optics. Look nice, fits great.
